In addition, Jackson was also named one of the top 50 most influential Christians in 2005 by the Christian Post. Jackson has appeared as a guest on The Tavis Smiley Show, Tony Brown's Journal, The O'Reilly Factor, Britt Hume's Special Report, National Public Radio, CBS Evening News, BET Evening News, 700 Club, TBN (Trinity Broadcast Network) and CBN News. He was a Republican candidate for the United States Senate in 2002. Since joining FRC in the fall of 2003 he has led FRC to aggressively continue their work affirming and defending the Judeo-Christian values that this nation is founded upon. Tony hosts a weekly national radio program, "Washington Watch Weekly," and he also sends daily updates to tens of thousands of grassroots activists. An effective communicator, he regularly appears on national broadcast and cable news programs. In addition, he has been a keynote speaker for organizations across the country. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, and a former police officer and television news reporter, Tony brings a unique blend of experience and leadership to the pro-family movement. He received his undergraduate degree from Liberty University, and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree from LSU in Public Administration. About the Author Dr. Zacharias Voulgaris was born in Athens, Greece. He studied Production Engineering and Management at the Technical University of Crete, shifted to Computer Science through a Masters in Information Systems & Technology (City University of London), and then to Data Science through a PhD on Machine Learning (University of London). He has worked at Georgia Tech as a Research Fellow, at an e-marketing startup in Cyprus as an SEO manager, and as a Data Scientist in both Elavon (GA) and G2 (WA). He also was a Program Manager at Microsoft, on a data analytics pipeline for Bing. Zacharias has authored two books and several scientific articles. His first book, Data Scientist - The Definitive Guide to Becoming a Data Scientist (Technics Publications), has been translated into Korean and Chinese. He has also reviewed a number of data science books (mainly on Python and lately on R) and had developed a number of new metrics and functions for data analytics.
